ARCOL recently accepted an invitation to support Shanghai Sansonic at the recent successful China Electronics Fair (CEF).  Since 1964 CEF has grown to be one of the largest and most comprehensive exhibitions of electronics and information industry in China.  ARCOL’s ongoing programme to support its’ global network of partners and distributors has seen sustained growth and never more so when joining forces to showcase both the comprehensive range of product and the partnership ARCOL has with our global network of representatives.  ARCOL’s Commercial Director, Mike Pritchard, commented:

Truro and Falmouth MP Sarah Newton met with the staff of Arcol Resistors, a manufacturer of electrical components based in Threemilestone.

Arcol Resistors is a world class manufacturer which is continuing to expand internationally, having been recognised as a quality supplier by some of the world’s largest manufacturers of electrical equipment.  Arcol has developed a reputation for delivering excellence in production and is seen as a brand leader in this field.

Sarah had nominated Arcol for the ‘Made By Britain’ project and visited the company to see first-hand how it works. 

‘Made By Britain’ is a government initiative designed to highlight British manufacturing, industry and creativity.  The initiative was inspired by the Great Exhibition of 1851 which provided a showcase for the greatest manufacturing, innovation and invention of the age.  The aim now is draw attention to today’s businesses and to highlight the ingenuity and creativity of modern British industry.

 Sarah Newton MP said: “I am delighted to have had the opportunity to see the work that Arcol does and to put them forward for the ‘Made by Britain’ project.  This is just one example of what businesses in Cornwall are able to achieve when inventiveness is combined with decent hard work.”

 Sarah continued: “Arcol provides highly skilled employment to people in Cornwall and is introducing apprenticeships.  This is precisely the sort of company that will help get Britain back to work and I applaud Arcol’s achievements.  I will continue to support their nomination in the ‘Made by Britain’ project so that they can get the recognition that they rightly deserve.”

Dacpol will be exhibiting the ARCOL brand at this years TRAKO International Railway Fair, which begins on October 11. Nearly 500 exhibitors from 16 countries have announced their participation in the event. For the first time, the Fair will last four days, to conclude on October 14.
