ARCOL Resistors has announced the RCC025 0.25 watt and the RCC050 0.5 watt solid-carbon resistors designed for high energy-dissipation applications. These small-leaded resistors are non-inductive and combine high-pulse characteristics with excellent stability.
A special feature is the dielectric strength peak pulse voltage of 6kV and 10kV respectively. Applications include products requiring high-pulse characteristics.
The RCC025 and RCC050 resistors are RoHS compliant and are designed for easy assembly using through-hole PCB mounting. The compact dimensions are 6.3mm x 2.4mm øD for the RCC025 and 9.5mm x 3.6mm øD for the RCC050.
The resistance range is 1R to 5M6 for the RCC025 and 1R to 22M for the RCC050. The tolerance options for both power resistors are ±5% or ±10% or ±20%. The maximum voltages are 500Vdc and 700Vdc respectively. The overload characteristics are measured with an applied voltage of 2.5 times of the rated voltage, with no visible damage to the resistor.
RCC025 and RCC050 resistors are available on short lead times – contact ARCOL Resistors sales department for more details.
